[Anglophone] leadership guides Cameroon to victory over Ecuador

Cameroonians kept a football vigil over events in Vancouver- Canada, where for the first time in the history of the Women's World Cup, two new comers met. One would have expected a balanced encounter between Cameroon and Ecuador in the opening Group C Canada 2015, but the Anglophone leadership mounted by Enow Ngachu of the Cameroon side became the decisive factor. They arrived Canada with nothing and the manager relied on YouTube images to get an insight into our Ecuador opponents. Then fake promises followed from the CPDM FECAFOOT crime syndicate. But the girls kept their faith in the man they all refer to as Dad.  Gaëlle Enganamouit announced before the game that "We can win the World Cup." The time to make our mark on the world stage had come and the Lionesses joined the acts of speech. Cameroon Radio and Television senior sports commentator Fon Echikeye made a summary of the actions that led to Cameroon crushing Ecuador 6:O.  A strike returned by the Ecuador

The Lionesses are the first of the 24 delegations expected at this Women’s World Cup 2015 to set foot on Canadian soil. The competition starts in about three weeks. This will notably allow them time to acclimate and adjust to the time change (8 hour time difference between Yaoundé and Vancouver). “We will try during these two and a half weeks to correct deficiencies. I think with the friendly matches we have delivered with boys and Ivory Coast recently, preparing in full swing, and we get down to correct the failings that we have seen, especially in the last game , ” said Bernadette Anong, former captain and

“There is no pressure when you are making a dream come true.”

“The person that said winning isn’t everything, never won anything.”   “A lot of football success is in the mind. You must believe that you are the best and then make sure that you are.” “In football everything is complicated by the presence of the opposite team.”

CAMEROON: Roger Milla is against Paul Biya for renewing Volker Finke’s contract!

Interogated about the renewal of Volker Finke’s contract by President Paul Biya, Roger Milla did not prevent himself to express his feelings. “ Sincerely speaking, I am against this contract renewal for Volker Finke. Since this man has been in this position, he has brought nothing to us. It’s useless to continue with him. he brought nothing to our country. We need to change him. We need a new coach “. Explained Roger Milla. As if that was not enough, the hero of the Italy 1990 World Cup is with the idea that local coaches should be chosen instead of strangers. “ I will never stop saying that am supporting the fact that we should hire a Cameroonian coach for the Indomitable Lions. let’s also give chances to a Cameroonian coach ” says he who succeeded in making Jean Paul Akono to be recruited as the main coach of the Indomitable Lions. The later, due to some issues, was removed withing less than 2 years, to the detriment of Volker Finke.

Cameroon: Clinton Njie…the rising star!

CamerVibes Clinton Njie is at his peak. The Cameroonian rising star is at his highest level in the French ligue 1 since 2 weeks now. After his score during the 33th encounter of his club Lyon against Saint Etienne, the 21 years old striker has again scored during the 34th encounter against Reims of his fellow brother Benjamin Moukandjo. He now has 4 goals in his counter this season. It’s beacuse of his good performance that he is always among the 11 of his team this ending season. His manager, Hubert Fournier is not counting on benching him so soon. His team mates, notably Alenxandre Lacazette can’t prevent themselves from saluting his talent. “ things are different with Clinton Njie he permits the fluid movement of ball and open us more spaces. Cameroon head coach: End of the Road for Volker Finke?

His contract expires on the 24th May 2015, and yet Mr. Finke does not know what awaits him. The poor results encountered by the National team under his leadership these last months are not helping him either. We can still remember the poor performance of the Indomitable Lions in the Brazil World Cup where the Lions were eliminated in the first round of the competition after defeats from Mexico(0-1), Croatia(0-4), and Brazil(1-4). Mr. Finke deliberately decided to go along with injured players to the World Cup (more than 10 injured players according to some members of the medical staff who were later sacked). At the AFCON in Equatorial Guinea, this was the occasion for Volker Finke to buy his head. But he again went astray from the objective. In the surprise of many, the Indomitable Lions were yet again eliminated in the first round after two draws from Mali(1-1), Guinea Conakry(1-1), and a fatal defeat against Cote d’Ivoire (0-1). Rumors of corruption, influence of some players’ a

Cameroon: Stéphane Mbia advocates maintaining Volker Finke

The Indomitable Lions captain expressed support for the renewal of the contract of the German technician. The contract of coach of the national team of Cameroon expires May 24, 2015 Stéphane Mbia, the contract of coach of the Cameroon team comes to an end. Would you like Volker Finke continues to lead the Indomitable Lions in qualifying for the 2017 African Cup of Nations? For me it is obvious. After the failure of the World Cup, Cameroon embarked on a reconstruction plan. It went through a change of mentality and the renewal of the workforce to 95%. I totally agree with the idea that he continues with this group it is creating. We must remember that we lost one game during the CAN 2015 against Côte d'Ivoire, the tournament winner. For me it is obvious that it continues. Volker Finke is the man for the job for you? All  did. I repeat. One game we lost this season. Against Côte d'Ivoire, in that game, at that time, there was a lack of experience. Many young people wer

No official explanation has so far given to justify these multiple reports. But according to indiscretions, the delay in the delivery of sports facilities is the cause of these against time. Sources within the National Federation of University games point to the late release of funds by the government. The site that will host the ceremonies Opening an

The Cameroonian Captain Mbia at the heart of Sevilla success story

“We are so happy to be in the semi-finals,” said Sevilla FC’s Stéphane Mbia, with UEFA.com’s Richard van Poortvliet impressed by the 28-year-old’s resilient showing. Sevilla FC like the UEFA Europa League and the UEFA Cup that preceded it. The team from the south of Spain overcame a tough test against FC Zenit to book their place in the semi-final draw as they look to retain their title – something they did in 2007. Central to those ambitions has been defensive midfielder Stéphane Mbia, who was outstanding for Unai Emery’s men in Russia’s second city on Thursday as Sevilla withstood Zenit’s second-half onslaught. “It is so difficult to play here and they have a really good team,” the Cameroon international told UEFA.com afterwards. “We knew what we wanted to do, but we had a bit of luck and we managed to score [a decisive late goal].” Mbia has the rare ability to adjust his game to the situation required. He has scored three and provided two assists in this season’s UEFA Europ

V-Finke wishes to bring Dongou

The coach of Cameroon has moved to Barcelona to watch the quarter-final of the Champions League between Barça PSG. His journey is not just for fun, he had a mission. The German engineer went to meet Jean Marie Dongou to try to convince him to join the lair of the Indomitable Lions. Indeed, the 20-year-old striker has already refused any summons from Finke, since he was selected for the first time in the margins of the qualifying match of the 2014 World Cup against Libya, September 8, 2013 . According to sources close to the Lions coaching staff, the player had refused to come because he had trouble with his now former mentor, Samuel Eto'o. Now that the four African golden ball is gone for good retirement Dongou has more excuses to give, but if he really does not want to wear the shirt of his country. Finke should attend one or two training sessions of FC Barcelona B. It should also meet Fabrice Ondoa and Franck Bagnack two other Cameroonian international. Starafrica

The Cameroonian team must change mentality - Benjamin Moukandjo

The attitude of the Cameroon team needs to improve if they are to be successful again, says forward Benjamin Moukandjo. The Indomitable Lions disappointed in this year’s Africa Cup of Nations – having missed the two previous editions – despite qualifying unbeaten. Moukandjo told BBC Sport: “We went to the last Nations Cup with so much confidence but we failed everyone. “The qualifiers for the next tournament start soon but we must now change our attitude and mentality.” Cameroon were a dominant force in the century’s first decade, winning back-to-back titles in 2000 and 2002 and finishing runners-up in 2008. But they have fallen away badly in the last five years, their low point coming in last summer’s World Cup in Brazil where they lost all three matches, had Alex Song sent off and saw team-mates Benoit Assou-Ekotto and Benjamin Moukandjo clash on the field. It seemed they had turned a corner when they hit good form to qualify for the 2015 Nations Cup in Equatorial G
