Why these men are detained b the Bamenda Judicial Police for over a
month now remains unknown. Lawyers have been refused to see them.
The writ of habeas corpus is one of the basic guarantees of personal
freedoms in countries with the Common Law systems. It prevents unjust
and wrongful detention. For these English speaking Southern
Cameroonians the writ of habeas corpus has been ignored.

 bring us together, just like we did in 2002 during the arrest of SCNC chairman and co. We were in court in our numbers so on the 18th after tomorrow all roads should be leading to the high court of Bamenda.
