Rio Olympics 2016: Liberia package, Cameroon qualified

The Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon, without playing, qualified for the third and final round of qualifiers for Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games 2016. This is the consequence of withdrawal of the women's team of Liberia by FIFA. This information comes from FECAFOOT who issued a statement relayed by mboafootball.

"The Cameroonian Football Federation informs the public and the National Competent Authorities concerned that in its correspondence that day April 28, 2015 addressed to the Department of competitions of FECAFOOT, FIFA announced the withdrawal of the Liberian women's team for Qualifications Rio de Janeiro Olympics 2016 two matches (home and away) against Cameroon to be played in Yaounde on 2 and May 8, 2015 are canceled. The Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon are therefore automatically qualified for the third round of those qualifications. "
